Hi! My name is Katrina and I am a mother of 3 who loves fitness and nutrition!

I am a mother of 3 wonderful, active children and a wife to an amazingly supportive husband. I am lucky enough to say that we are all healthy and happy, and I am thankful for that every single day.

 

My hope is that my story will inspire you!

 

When I was younger I was a competitive gymnast, then later I coached gymnastic and instructed Aerobics. As long as I could remember I was active and spent time helping others.

Later I moved from New Zealand to England with my now husband. We got jobs there and enjoyed traveling. Soon we got married and had our first child, and we moved to Canada for my job.

Again my life was consumed with work and my family, soon we had out second child, the weight didn't come off as easily this time! I tried weight watchers and started running. I got most of the weight off but it slowly started coming back on because even though weight watchers worked it didn't teach me how to change my eating habits, instead it taught me to eat little during the week so I could binge with my points on the weekend.

After my third baby (I gained 50lbs that pregnancy!) I knew something had to change, my energy was at an all time low and I had 3 young kids to keep up with as well as a fulltime job!
My friend a Beachbody coach posted about the 21 day fix and I decided to take the plunge and just do it!
I have done every diet known to man kind but this resonated with me, my husband did it with me, and my children also ate all the same foods I did. I was shocked at how much I was overeating in some food groups (even healthy ones!).

Within the first 3 weeks I lost 8lbs (When I started I only needed to lose 5lbs to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight), I had energy again, and best of all I was able to follow the eating plan without even really thinking about it.

Since then I have done another round of 21 df and a round of 21 day fix extreme. I have lost 20lbs and found a love of life again.

 

More over, I have regained my love of helping people (something that had been lacking since leaving New Zealand). By becoming a coach, I have been able to help others become healthier, fitter and happier as well.
