I am so excited! Christmas is nearly here! Seriously this is my favorite time of the year, even more so now that I have kids. I love the sparkle in their eyes, the joy in their faces, the decorated trees, Christmas concerts, the kids talking about Santa and their wish list, getting together with friends and of course…. The Christmas Parties.

Oh yes.

The parties….

Work parties, friend parties, partners parties, kids’ sporting team parties, school parties, neighbor parties, girlfriend get-together-and-gossip- parties, mommy-group-play-date-parties, extended family parties. You get the picture. There’s a lot of them!

During the year we work hard at making healthy choices and trying our best to make fitness a priority. And we all know that even though we might LOVE the holiday season, it also has the potential to hurt all our achievements that we have made over the past months.

This year instead of regretting my bad choices, I decided to put a plan together to help me survive the festive season and I want to share that with you.

Here I will be posting tips on how to maintain and not gain (at least not too much) over the holiday season, as well as a quick and fun workout to do each day. Just keeping up with a little activity everyday can really help over this festive season.

Don't forget to check out the recipes section for some healthy choices!
