Overnight Slow Cooker Oats

My kids have been asking me to do this for awhile as it is one of their favourites!

It is so easy and makes enough for a few days :)

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of (gluten free) steel cut oats

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

  • 3 cups of water

  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence

  • 1 tsp of cinnamon

  • a pinch of nutmeg

  • 1 Tbsp of pure maple syurp

 

Directions

Place all ingredients in the slow cooker and turn on high for 1.5 hours.

Turn slow cooker off and stir, leave overnight with the lif on.

 

In the morning serve either cold or warmed as you like it, we love to layer it with blueberries, plain Greek yogurt (sweetened with stevia or maple syrup). This morning I put a little nutella on top for a treat.
